1. General Storage Requirements
This lyophilized biological research material is sensitive to temperature, humidity and light. Please store it in a cool, dry, dark and well-ventilated dedicated reagent area.
Keep away from heat sources, electrical equipment and direct sunlight. Maintain low ambient humidity to prevent the powder from absorbing moisture and caking. Store separately from corrosive and volatile chemicals to avoid contamination.
2. Storage for Unopened Products
Short-term storage: Keep well-sealed products in refrigeration at 2℃–8℃.
Long-term storage: Seal the vial tightly and store at -20℃.
Arrange products neatly, keep away from ground moisture and do not place heavy items on top to prevent package damage. Follow the first-in, first-out rule. The shelf life of unopened products is 24 months under recommended conditions.
3. Storage for Opened Products
Tighten the cap completely right after sampling to minimize exposure to air and reduce risks of oxidation and moisture absorption.
Store opened products at 2℃–8℃ away from light. Avoid frequent moving and repeated opening. Use the material as soon as possible to retain its activity.
4. Storage for Reconstituted Solution
The liquid solution is much less stable than lyophilized powder. Use it immediately after preparation.
For temporary storage, transfer the solution into a clean sealed container and keep it at 2℃–8℃ in dark place. Finish use within 24 hours.
Do not store at room temperature or perform repeated freeze-thaw cycles, which will lead to activity loss and deterioration. Dispose of abnormal solution with turbidity or sediment in accordance with laboratory waste regulations.
5. Subpackaged Samples & Daily Management
Use fully sealed containers for divided samples. Place them together with desiccant in a light-proof box before putting into refrigeration. Mark each container with product name, subpackaging date and batch number for easy management.
Check the operation of storage devices, package integrity and material status regularly. Isolate products with damage, moisture or discoloration in a timely manner. Turn on dehumidification equipment in humid weather. Handle products gently during transportation.
