It appears as yellow needle-like crystals or yellowish-brown to yellow powder, with a melting point of 330°C (decomposition). Regarding solubility, it is soluble in DMSO (28.62 mg/mL), ethanol (2.86 mg/mL), acetone, and acetic acid, but is practically insoluble in water, benzene, and petroleum ether. It should be stored in a sealed container at 2–8°C, protected from light. This compound exhibits oral bioavailability and is a multi-target natural product that acts on various signaling pathways, including CDK6, PI3K/Akt/mTOR, and NF-κB. It possesses multiple biological activities, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and neuroprotective effects.
