Polyquaternium-10 (Abbr: PQ-10, CAS:81646-13-1,EINECS:279-770-1, HS Code:3912310000) is a white to off-white powder, a cationic cellulose derivative modified with quaternary ammonium groups. Applications
Hair Care Industry (Core Application)
Premium conditioning agent for shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and styling products. It adsorbs on hair surface, forms a smooth protective film, reduces static electricity, improves wet and dry combability, repairs damaged hair cuticles, and endows hair with long-lasting softness, smoothness and glossy appearance, being the most widely used cationic conditioner in hair care formulations.
Skin Care Products
Used as moisturizing and conditioning agent in body washes, facial cleansers, lotions and creams. It improves skin smoothness, reduces tightness after cleansing, provides long-lasting moisturizing effect, and enhances skin softness and comfort.
Personal Cleansing Products
Added to liquid soaps, shower gels and facial cleansers to improve foam stability and creaminess, reduce skin irritation from surfactants, and leave skin feeling soft and non-drying after washing.
