      Product Introduction  


    Polyquaternium-7 (Abbr: PQ-7, CAS:68937-54-2,EINECS:273-101-2, HS Code:3906909000) is a colorless to pale yellow viscous liquid, a cationic polymer copolymer of diallyldimethylammonium chloride and acrylamide. We supply industrial and cosmetic grades complying with international quality standards. It features excellent water solubility, good conditioning, antistatic and flocculation properties, with high compatibility with cosmetic ingredients. Widely used as conditioning agent in personal care products and flocculant in water treatment.

    Applications
    Hair Care Industry (Core Application)
    High-performance conditioning agent for shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and styling products. It improves wet and dry combability, reduces static electricity, repairs damaged hair, endows hair with softness and smoothness, and enhances foam stability and creaminess of cleansing products, widely used in daily hair care formulations.
    Skin Care & Personal Cleansing
    Added to body washes, facial cleansers, liquid soaps and shower gels to reduce skin irritation from surfactants, improve foam texture, and leave skin feeling soft, smooth and non-drying after washing. Also used in lotions and creams as moisturizing and conditioning agent.
    Water Treatment Industry
    Efficient cationic flocculant for wastewater treatment, industrial circulating water and sludge dewatering. It effectively flocculates suspended solids and colloidal particles, removes turbidity and organic pollutants, and improves sedimentation and filtration efficiency.
    Textile & Paper Industry
    Applied as antistatic agent and softener for textiles and non-woven fabrics. It improves fiber smoothness, reduces static electricity, and enhances paper strength and retention rate in papermaking process.
    Cosmetic Formulations
    Used as thickener, stabilizer and film-forming agent in styling gels, mousses and hair sprays. It improves product texture, enhances styling effect, and maintains hair natural flexibility without stiffness.
    Other Industrial Applications
    Used as flocculant in mining and mineral processing, and as retention aid in papermaking. Also applied in oilfield drilling and wastewater treatment to improve solid-liquid separation efficiency.

    Packaging & Storage
    Standard packaging: 50kg plastic drums, 200kg sealed HDPE drums or 1000kg IBC tanks. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse at 5–30°C. Keep containers tightly sealed, away from strong oxidants and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 24 months under proper storage conditions.
    Safety Information
    Classified as non-hazardous goods for regular transportation. Non-toxic and non-irritating at recommended use concentrations. Wear protective gloves and goggles during handling. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Complete MSDS and relevant qualification certificates are available upon request.
