On May 28, 2009, with an investment of 430 million yuan, 180 acres of land were acquired in Penglai District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, and the construction work will be completed in three phases, building a production line with an annual output of 10,000 tons of cationic polyacrylamide powder and 30,000 tons of anionic polyacrylamide powder. A modern chemical industrial park with an annual output of 10,000 tons of cationic monomer and 30,000 tons of acrylamide production lines. After the completion of the park, the annual output of anionic and cationic flocculants will reach about 40,000 tons, and the annual water treatment capacity will reach more than 1 billion cubic meters. The Penglai Spark Chemical Industrial Park has complete public supporting facilities and complete safety, fire protection, and environmental protection procedures, sufficient raw material suppliers and diverse procurement methods, providing sufficient raw material supply for production, laying a solid foundation for the production and use of the park, and paving the way for the construction of the second and third phases of the park.
