                                              Sodium molybdate dihydrate is an inorganic compound with the molecular formula Na₂MoO₄·2H₂O and a molecular weight of 241.95 g/mol.                                               Synthetic Process

                                              Sodium molybdate dihydrate is manufactured through the following routes:

                                              • Reaction of molybdenum trioxide with sodium hydroxide: Molybdenum trioxide (MoO₃) is reacted with sodium hydroxide solution under controlled conditions to form sodium molybdate, which is then crystallized as the dihydrate.

                                              • Purification: The crude product is purified by recrystallization to obtain high-purity crystalline material.
