Industrial Grade Dichloromethane, also known as Methylene Chloride and shorted as DCM, is a widely applied halogenated organic solvent with fixed CAS number 75-09-2. It is produced through methane chlorination reaction followed by multiple precise rectification and impurity removal procedures. Our factory strictly controls rectification temperature, fraction separation and post-treatment processes to guarantee stable purity above 99%, which can fully meet the mass production demands of pharmaceutical extraction, coating, metal cleaning, polyurethane foaming, adhesive manufacturing and printing ink industries around the world.

The finished product is colorless transparent volatile liquid with a faint ether smell. Its core advantage lies in powerful universal solvency. It can rapidly dissolve all kinds of synthetic and natural resins, mechanical grease, printing ink, old paint layers, polyurethane raw materials and rubber particles. Different from flammable solvents such as acetone, ethyl acetate and methanol, DCM has no flash point under normal temperature and pressure, which greatly reduces fire hazards in closed factories and becomes the preferred safe solvent for large-scale industrial cleaning and extraction processes.

With a low boiling point around 40℃, DCM volatilizes quickly at room temperature and leaves no trace on the surface of workpieces after evaporation. In pharmaceutical production, it serves as an ideal extraction solvent for active pharmaceutical ingredients and plant extracts. After extraction, it can be easily separated from target products via mild heating evaporation without damaging product activity. In coating and printing industries, it is the key raw material of high-efficiency paint remover and ink diluent, accelerating film forming speed and upgrading the smoothness of finished coatings. For precision hardware, optical lenses and circuit board processing factories, DCM is used for degreasing to thoroughly remove soldering flux, lubricating oil and wax contaminants without causing corrosion to workpiece surfaces. Besides, it acts as an important foaming auxiliary agent for rigid polyurethane thermal insulation foam materials.
