      Product Detail

Low Iron Industrial Grade Yellow Flake Sodium Sulfide, with fixed CAS No.1313-82-2, is a premium inorganic sulfide produced through high-purity brine vulcanization, multi-stage iron removal purification, evaporation concentration and flake molding technology. Different from ordinary red flake sodium sulfide with high iron, our low-iron yellow grade strictly controls iron impurity below 20ppm, solving the problem of darkening, spot and color fading in leather and textile production, widely exported to global tanneries, printing factories, mineral processing plants and environmental water treatment enterprises.
The finished product is uniform bright yellow translucent flake solid with typical hydrogen sulfide odor. It has strong hygroscopicity; exposed to humid air will absorb water and gradually deliquesce, and release toxic H₂S gas when contacting acid. Fully soluble in normal-temperature water to form transparent strongly alkaline solution with excellent reduction and metal ion precipitation capacity, the core functional agent for multiple industrial processing links.
Leather manufacturing is the largest consumption field: low iron sodium sulfide acts as main dehairing auxiliary in liming workshop. It breaks disulfide bonds of keratin in hide hair roots to completely remove hair and epidermis without scratching leather grain surface; ultra-low iron index prevents finished leather from yellow-brown stains, improving leather smoothness and dye uptake uniformity.
Textile printing and dyeing factories use this yellow flake as vat dye reduction agent. It restores insoluble vat dyes into soluble leuco bodies, realizing uniform fabric coloring; low iron avoids gray dark spots on cloth surface, guaranteeing bright and consistent printing color. In mineral flotation industry, sodium sulfide serves as sulfide ore activator to increase floatability of copper, zinc and gold ore, lifting mineral recovery rate and reducing production cost.
For environmental wastewater treatment, sodium sulfide precipitates heavy metal ions such as copper, lead, nickel and cadmium into insoluble sulfide sediment, helping factories meet national discharge standards with higher removal efficiency than traditional lime precipitation. It is also applied as raw material for sulfur dyestuff synthesis and reducing agent in paper kraft cooking process.
Every batch undergoes full-item laboratory inspection before delivery, testing sodium sulfide content, iron content, sulfite impurities and insoluble residues to guarantee stable low iron performance for color-sensitive production lines. As Class 8 corrosive dangerous goods, all export packages adopt double-layer anti-seepage structure (inner PE film bag + outer woven bag) to isolate air and moisture during long-distance sea transportation.
Warehouse storage must maintain airtight, cool, dry and ventilated environment, completely separated from acid products, oxidants, edible raw materials and humid ground to prevent deliquescence and efficacy attenuation. Operators must wear alkali-resistant gloves, protective goggles and gas-proof masks during feeding to avoid skin corrosion and toxic gas inhalation.
We support small trial bag orders for formula debugging and large full-container bulk wholesale with stable monthly output and factory direct competitive price. Complete official COA test report, MSDS safety data sheet and dangerous goods shipping certificates are supplied to assist overseas buyers’ smooth customs clearance and incoming quality inspection.
    • Low iron premium grade (Fe ≤0.002%), no dark sediment or color stain in dyeing & leather production, stable bright solution color.
    • Standard Na₂S content ≥60%, controlled low sulfite, thiosulfate and water-insoluble impurities, fewer side reactions and higher production yield.
    • Regular flake shape with low dust, fast complete dissolution without undissolved residues, suitable for automatic continuous dosing equipment.
    • Powerful reducing & metal chelating performance: efficient dehairing for leather, strong reduction for vat dyes, rapid precipitation of heavy metals in wastewater.
    • Wide multi-industry compatibility: tannery, textile printing, ore flotation, water treatment, dyestuff manufacturing, paper kraft cooking.
    • UN certified dangerous goods double-layer packaging, complete COA, MSDS, IMDG shipping documents, stable bulk stock with factory competitive price.
    • Strict closed purification & deironing production process, consistent low iron index batch after batch, long-term stable storage under airtight seal.
