Sodium Polystyrene Sulfonate, commonly abbreviated as PSSNa or PSS, with CAS Number 25704‑18‑1, is a high‑performance water‑soluble anionic polyelectrolyte polymer, also named Poly(Sodium 4‑Styrenesulfonate). It is manufactured by polymerization and sulfonation of styrene monomer, neutralized with sodium hydroxide to obtain sodium‑salt polymer solution. Our mainstream commercial supply is 20% solid‑content light‑yellow transparent liquid, and customized molecular‑weight grades ranging from 5000 to 100000 are available upon customer’s technical demands.
