Engineered for extended half-life (~1 week) via albumin binding (fatty acid acylation at Lys26) and resistance to DPP-4 degradation (Aib substitution at position 8). Promotes insulin secretion, inhibits glucagon release, delays gastric emptying, and reduces appetite via central nervous system GLP-1R activation.
