Calcium Stearate (CAS:1338‑43‑8, molecular formula, also known as Calcium Octadecanoate, is a metallic soap fine chemical produced by reaction of stearic acid with calcium‑based raw materials followed by refining treatment. It appears as white fine powder, insoluble in water, slightly soluble in hot ethanol and organic solvents. It possesses excellent lubricating, demolding, anti‑caking, water‑repellent and thermal stabilization performance. It is widely accepted as key additive for plastic, rubber, coating and food industries.
