Sodium Monofluorophosphate, with the chemical formula Na2PO3F and CAS number 10163-15-2, is an important functional fluoride salt. This product typically appears as a white crystalline powder or granules, odorless, and readily soluble in water. In aqueous solution, it gradually releases both fluoride ions (F) and phosphate ions (PO4³). Its core value lies in being a safe and effective "controlled-release source of fluoride ions." This characteristic makes it an outstanding anti-caries (cavity-fighting) agent in oral care and an efficient metal treatment agent and corrosion inhibitor in water systems for industrial applications. It represents a more controlled technological solution compared to some traditional fluorides.

Feature

Highly effective at preventing cavities, yet gentle on the skin: As a toothpaste additive, it slowly releases fluoride ions in the oral cavity, promoting enamel remineralization, enhancing teeth's resistance to acid erosion, and providing significant anti-cavity effects while being gentle on the oral mucosa.

Excellent corrosion inhibition properties: In industrial water treatment, the released phosphate and fluoride ions form a dense protective film on metal surfaces, effectively inhibiting the corrosion of metals such as carbon steel and copper.
