PNC-27 is a synthetic 32-amino-acid chimeric peptide, CAS 1159861-00-3. It consists of HDM-2 binding domain from p53 tumor suppressor protein fused with penetratin cell-penetrating sequence. This peptide targets membrane-bound HDM-2 on cancer cells and triggers transmembrane pore formation, leading to selective tumor cell necrosis, independent of p53 status. Widely used for in vitro and preclinical research of targeted cell death mechanism, HDM-2 protein interaction and oncology study.
