    Product Description

Lithium hydrate is one of the most important lithium compounds, including anhydrous LiOH and LiOH·H2O. Anhydrous LiOH is white tetragonal crystalline particles or fluid powder, with a relative density of 1.45g/cm3, a melting point of 471.2°C, and a boiling point of 1620°C. Lithium hydrate monohydrate is a white, easily deliquescent single crystal powder with a relative Chemicalbook density of 1.51g/cm3 and a melting point of 680°C. When the temperature is higher than 100°C, it loses crystal water and becomes anhydrous LiOH. LiOH is soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and easily absorbs CO2 in the air to form Li2CO3. LiOH and its concentrated solution are corrosive and can corrode glass and ceramics at normal temperatures.

    Application

LiOH is one of the main raw materials for the production of high-grade lithium-based grease. Lithium hydrate is widely used in chemical raw materials, chemical reagents, battery industry, petroleum, metallurgy, glass, ceramics and other industries. It is also used in the national defense industry, atomic energy industry and Important raw materials for the aerospace industry. Lithium-based grease produced with lithium hydrate has long service life, strong water resistance, good fire resistance, difficult to oxidize, and stable performance during multiple heating-cooling-heating cycles. The applicable temperature range can be from -50°C to +300°C. ºC, widely used in the lubrication of military equipment, aircraft, automobiles, rolling mills and various mechanical transmission parts. In the battery industry, lithium hydrate is used as an additive for alkaline batteries and nickel-metal hydride batteries, which can extend battery life and increase storage capacity.

    Shelf life:

The shelf life of titanium dioxide is generally 2-3 years.

If the storage conditions are good, such as in a dry, ventilated, temperature-appropriate environment, and the packaging remains intact, its shelf life may be extended, and it can even maintain good performance after exceeding the normal shelf life. However, if the storage environment is harsh, such as humidity, high temperature or damaged packaging, titanium dioxide may be damp, agglomerated or undergo other chemical reactions in advance, resulting in reduced performance and a corresponding shortening of the shelf life.

LITHIUM HYDROXIDE MONOHYDRATE neutralizes acids exothermically to form salts plus water. Reacts with certain metals (such as aluminum and zinc) to form oxides or hydroxides of the metal and generate gaseous hydrogen. May initiate polymerization reactions in polymerizable organic compounds, especially epoxides. May generate flammable and/or toxic gases with ammonium salts, nitrides, halogenated organics, various metals, peroxides, and hydroperoxides. May serve as a catalyst. Reacts when heated above about 84°C with aqueous solutions of reducing sugars other than sucrose to evolve toxic levels of carbon monoxide [Bretherick, 5th Ed., 1995].
