Neuroleptic agent related structurally to thiothixene. Antipsychotic; neuroleptic agent; dopamine receptor antagonist

Drug Function and Efficacy

It is a thioxanthene neuroleptic, which has antianxiety and antidepressant effects in small doses. The combination of the two ingredients has antidepressant, antianxiety and happiness properties.

Ingredients	This product is a compound preparation, its main ingredients are: flupentixol hydrochloride and melitracen hydrochloride.
Indication	Contraindications: Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (including non-selective inhibitors, selective monoamine oxidase-A inhibitors (such as moclobemide) and monoamine oxidase-B inhibitors (such as selegiline)) is prohibited. Co-use may cause the risk of serotonin syndrome (see contraindications for details). Not recommended combinations: Sympathomimetics: Melitracen may enhance the cardiovascular effects of the following drugs, including epinephrine, ephedrine, isoproterenol, norepinephrine, phenylephrine and phenylpropanolamine (ingredients contained in local anesthetics, general anesthetics and nasal decongestants). Adrenergic nerve blockers: This product can reduce the antihypertensive effects of guanethidine, betanidine, reserpine, clonidine and methyldopa.
