Macrolide antibiotics. It has strong antibacterial effects on Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma, and also has antibacterial effects on some Gram-negative bacteria such as meningococci and gonococci.

Its chemical name is [4R-(4R,5S,6S,7R,9R,10R,11E,13E,16R*)]-6-{[3,6-dideoxy-4-O-(2,6-dideoxy-3-carbon-methyl-a-L-ribose-hexopyranosyl)-3-(dimethylamino)-b-D-pyranoglucopyranosyl]oxy}-4,10-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-9,16-dimethyl-2-oxohexaane-11,13-diene-7-acetaldehyde 3,4-b-dipropionate.
Indication	This product can inhibit the normal metabolism of theophylline. When used in combination with theophylline, it can cause an abnormal increase in theophylline blood concentration and lead to poisoning or even death. Therefore, theophylline blood concentration should be monitored when the two drugs are used in combination.
