It is a dichlorobenzene, a cyclic ketal, a dioxolane, a member of triazoles, a conazole fungicide and a triazole fungicide.

Take 1, 2, 4-triazole, m-dichlorobenzene, and glycol as raw materials. The production process of eticonazole is similar to that of propiconazole.
