ZINC TETRAFLUOROBORATE HYDRATE Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Fluoroboric acid is prepared by reacting boric acid and hydrofluoric acid with zinc carbonate method, which is then reacted with zinc carbonate to control the Ph value of 3-4. Impurities are removed by filtration, and the solution is evaporated under reduced pressure (60-70°C) to precipitate crystals, and then dried to obtain finished zinc fluoroborate. 2HBF4+ZnCO3→Zn(BF4)2+CO2↑+H2O

Uses

It is the raw material of trinuclear hetero-scorpion compound of the same metal (used in the study of electromagnetic properties).
