Copper chloride dihydrate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

In the hydrochloric acid method, a certain amount of copper oxide is gradually added to a reactor filled with hydrochloric acid, and added while stirring for acidolysis to generate copper chloride. When the pH value of the reaction solution is 2 and the concentration is 35-37°Bé, the reaction is completed, and it is clarified after standing. Sodium hypochlorite is added to the clear liquid to oxidize the divalent iron to trivalent iron, which is removed by hydrolysis and filtration. The filtrate is concentrated by evaporation, cooled and crystallized, centrifuged, and dried at 60~70℃ to obtain copper chloride product, CuO+2HCl→CuCl2+H2O

Organic and inorganic reaction catalyst, mediator, insecticide, petroleum deodorization, desulfurization and purification agent.
