Methods of Manufacturing

Solid phase method manganese compounds (such as manganese dioxide, manganese hydroxide and manganese carbonate) and lithium salts (such as lithium nitrate, lithium carbonate and lithium sulfate) are used as raw materials, borate is used as a cosolvent, and after mixing, calcination, water washing, After drying, a sample with the structural formula LiMnO2 was obtained. Calcining is performed at 300-500°C, and drying is performed at 100°C. The addition of borate additives can reduce the calcination temperature while ensuring the formation of the predetermined crystal phase. 2MnCO3+Li2CO3→2LiMnO2+2CO2+CO
