Cerium(III) carbonate hydrate Use and Manufacturing
In the solvent extraction method, crude cerium hydroxide is used as a raw material, and tributyl phosphate-liquid paraffin and bis(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid-kerosene are used as extractants to purify to obtain a cerium chloride hydrochloric acid solution. Then it is neutralized with ammonia water, and ammonium bicarbonate is added to precipitate the cerium carbonate. The precipitate is filtered, washed, centrifuged and dried to become the cerium carbonate product.
