Methods of Manufacturing

In the hydrothermal synthesis method, water glass is boiled with steam to prepare an aqueous solution with a relative density of 1.2 to 1.25. The impurities are removed by sedimentation, and the supernatant liquid is used. The solid aluminum hydroxide and sodium hydroxide are heated and dissolved in a mass ratio of 1.2:1 to prepare a sodium metaaluminate solution for later use. In order to prevent the hydrolysis of the sodium metaaluminate solution, it is best to use a freshly prepared solution. Mix water glass, sodium metaaluminate, and sodium hydroxide at a certain molar ratio (usually A12O3: SiO2: Na2O: H2O=1: 2: 3: 185), and react at 80°C for 30 min under stirring , The resulting gel is heated to 90°C for 1 hour, and then heated to 102°C±2°C for 4 hours to crystallize to obtain crystal powder. After filtration and washing, potassium chloride is added for ion exchange (with an exchange degree of 40%), followed by filtration, washing, drying, adding a binder, kneading, shaping, and burning activation to obtain a 3A molecular sieve.
