Sodium stannate (Na2SnO3) Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

The alkaline hydrolysis method melts the tin block and quenches it into tin flower, and then reacts with caustic soda and sodium nitrate. The reaction temperature is raised from 300°C to 800°C to generate sodium stannate, which is dissolved in water after cooling, and sodium sulfide, Hydrogen peroxide is used to purify and remove impurities. After precipitation, it is filtered, evaporated, concentrated, centrifuged, dried and crushed to obtain sodium stannate product.

Uses

Medium beam agent, fabric fire retardant, electroplating tin. Mainly used for electroplating industry alkaline tin plating and copper tin alloy plating. Used as fire retardant and weight increaser in textile industry. Dyestuff industry used as mordant. Also used in glass. Ceramics and other industries.
