Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is to use (±) cis-permethrin acid for resolution, and the resolution agent can be L-(+)-threo-N, N-dimethyl-p-nitrophenyl-1, 3-propanediol , 1-Phenyl-2-p-methylphenylethylamine, (-)-1-p-methylphenylethylamine, etc. Put (±)cis-permethrin acid and (—)-1-p-methylaniline in a round-bottomed flask, slowly heat to dissolve, and then cool the solution to room temperature to obtain (+)cis-dichloro The salt formed by chrysanthemum acid and the resolving agent (-) amine, the salt is recrystallized with methanol, then treated with 1mol/L NaOH solution, extracted with ether, the aqueous layer is acidified with 1mol/L HCl, and then extracted with ether, and the solution is obtained 1R-cis-permethrin acid has an optical purity of 98.1%. If (-)-1-phenyl-2-p-methylphenylethylamine is used as the resolving agent, the obtained 1R-cis-permethrin acid has lower optical purity.

Uses

1R-cis-permethrin is an intermediate of cis-permethrin and deltamethrin.
