Description
Methfuroxam is a secondary carboxamide resulting from the formal condensation of the carboxylic acid group of 2,4,5-trimethyl-3-furoic acid with the amino group of aniline. An obsolete fungicide formerly used to control Basidiomycetes pathogens on cereal crops. It has a role as an antifungal agrochemical. It is an anilide, a secondary carboxamide, a member of furans and a furanilide fungicide.|Methfuroxam is under investigation in clinical trial NCT01213407 (Dendritic Cell Cancer Vaccine for High-grade Glioma).
