Prosapogenin A Use and Manufacturing

The steroidal saponins contained in Chonglou are the basis of their medicinal effects. Recent studies have found that Chonglou Anti-tumor can achieve anti-tumor effects by blocking the formation of new blood vessels in the tumor. It can not only fight tumors, but also reverse tumor resistance. The mechanism of Chonglou killing tumor cells is to induce tumor cell apoptosis. Chonglou saponin V is one of the important monomers of Chonglou extract and has good anticancer effects. The saponin monomer V of Chonglou saponins showed good in vitro antitumor effects on colon cancer cells. Compared with the currently commonly used anti-tumor drug oxaliplatin, saponins V has stronger anti-tumor properties on colon cancer cells and has the potential to become an effective anti-colon cancer drug.
