Diphenylglyoxime Use and Manufacturing
By the action of bifenyl and hydroxylamine hydrochloride: 0.1 mol of bifenyl and 0.2 mol of hydroxylamine hydrochloride and a small amount of hydrochloric acid are mixed, heated and refluxed in a methanol (or ethanol) solution for 2 hours, cooled, and filtered to obtain bifenyl dioxime.
Analysis reagent, chelating extractant.
