Drug Function and Efficacy

1. Anti-inflammatory effects: (1) Anti-allergic effects, inhibiting local allergic necrosis and Schwartzman phenomenon and other anti-allergic effects; enhancing the inhibitory effect of hormones on stress response, antagonizing the anti-granulation and thymic atrophy effects of hormones. (2) Inhibiting the arachidonic acid metabolic enzymes, selectively inhibiting the phosphorylation of these enzymes and inhibiting their activation. 2. Immunomodulatory effects: (1) Regulating T cell activation; (2) Inducing interferon; (3) Activating NK cells; (4) Promoting the differentiation of extrathymic T lymphocytes. 3. Inhibiting experimental liver cell damage: Inhibiting liver cell damage caused by carbon tetrachloride. 4. Inhibiting virus proliferation and inactivating viruses: Prolonging the survival days of mice infected with hepatitis virus, preventing rabbit cowpox virus from causing pox, inhibiting the proliferation of herpes virus and inactivating viruses.
