A mixture of 6-nitro-1H-indazole (25 g, 0.153 mmol, commercially available) and 10percent Pd/C (2.0 g) in MeOH was stirred under HGeneral procedure: To a solution of corresponding nitrobenzene (1 equiv) in methanol (20 mL) was added Pd/C (10percent), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature under H2 overnight.
