Methods of Manufacturing

Add 1 000 kg of solvent methoxyethyl acetate into the condensation kettle, start stirring, add 134 kg of terephthalaldehyde and 560 kg of 2-(bisethylphosphonomethyl)-benzonitrile. After stirring, add 500 kg of 30% sodium methoxide methanol solution, react at 50 ℃ for 4 h, cool to below 20 ℃, add salt to crystallize. After centrifugal separation, the filter cake was washed with water and filtered to obtain a crude product. Recrystallization gives yellow-green crystals. Grind the pure product, leveling agent, and an appropriate amount of water together to form a 10% suspension to obtain the fluorescent whitening agent ER.

Uses

It is suitable for whitening and brightening of polyester (polyester) fibers, and also has a good whitening effect on plastics and products such as polyethylene and polypropylene.
