Description

Beryllium perchlorate has the molecular formula of Be(ClO4)2 and a molecular weight of 207.012 g/mol. Its CAS number is 13597-95-0. It can be prepared by reaction of beryllium oxide in a water solution of an alkali perchloric salt or perchloric acid itself. The reaction is very slow and there is some doubt as to whether the oxide actually dissolves but is converted directly to the perchlorate directly.
