Methods of Manufacturing

The product is prepared by the coupling of 3-methyl-4-methoxyaniline-4-sulfonic acid diazotization and 2-3-acid. Reaction equation operation process Weigh 96kg of diazonium component into 1760L of water, add 27kg of sodium carbonate to dissolve, and add 30.5kg of sodium nitrite to prepare a solution, add to 1540L of solution containing 230L of hydrochloric acid within 45min to diazotize, at the same time Add ice to keep at 5℃, and the volume after diazotization is 3650L. Weigh 92.5kg of 2, 3-acid into 1100L water, add 26.5kg of soda ash to dissolve, the temperature is 80℃, the solution is neutral, dilute with 2200L of cold water, and add 80kg of soda ash (dissolve in 650L of water), temperature 10℃ Prepared for coupling. The volume is 3250L. Add diazonium solution within 20 minutes, the final volume is 7500L, heat to 50°C the next day, slowly add 1200-1500kg sodium chloride, stir for 1h, press filter, and obtain filter cake 440-480kg. The filter cake was beaten with 1800L water and stirred overnight. The volume was adjusted to 6600L the next day. Weigh 176kg of sodium chloride and add 660L of water to dissolve it and add it to the slurry, stir and heat to boiling, start to be yellow-brown and continue heating for 1h, the color gradually changes to red, cool and stir for 0.5h, filter and wash with water, and ensure excess barium salt, 50~ Dry at 60°C to obtain 240kg of product.

Mainly used for coloring of paints and inks.
