6-Chloro-[1 , 2, 4]triazolo[4, 3-b]pyridazin-3(2/-/)-one (1 eq) was added to phosphoryl chloride (10 eq). The mixture was heated to reflux for 20 hours. The mixture was evaporated to dryness.
