Calcium dodecylbenzenesulfonate Use and Manufacturing
It is obtained by sulfonation and neutralization of heavy alkylbenzene by-product from the alkylbenzene plant. The double membrane sulfonation method is as follows. First, the metered SO3 gas and dry air are mixed in the mixer to a SO2 concentration of 4% (volume), and then the mixed gas is passed into the annular space of the double membrane reactor, and the passing speed is controlled at 20～90m/s . In addition, the heavy alkylbenzene is preheated to 30-35°C and fed into the reactor head distributor with a pump. The molar ratio of heavy alkylbenzene to sulfur trioxide is 1:1.05. The flow velocity of the sulfur trioxide-air mixture in the reaction zone is about 26m/s. The reaction temperature is 40～45°C. The generated alkylbenzene sulfonic acid is pumped into the aging device with an acid-resistant pump. After 15 minutes of reaction in the aging device, it is injected into the water dispenser. Add 0.5% to 1% of water equivalent to sulfonic acid. To decompose the by-product sulfonic anhydride and terminate the aging process. The reaction liquid after hydrolysis is succinic benzene sulfonic acid, which is pumped into the storage tank for use. Add a certain amount of lime water to the neutralization pot. Under stirring, the alkylbenzene sulfonic acid was added dropwise at about 30°C until the pH value was 7-8. After dripping, stir for 1 hour and discharge. Concentrate, crystallize, filter and dry to get the finished product.
Mainly used in pesticide emulsifier, but also in textile oil agent, tile detergent, grinding oil agent, cement dispersant, etc. This product is used as a detergent and dispersant in diesel, engine oil, pressurized diesel, and engine oil. This product is the main component of a mixed emulsifier compounded with organic chlorine, organic phosphorus, herbicide and other pesticide emulsions. It can be used as an anionic surfactant and also as a pesticide emulsifier. It is mixed with non-ionic surfactants to prepare a mixed pesticide emulsifier, which is widely used to prepare organic phosphorus and organic chlorine pesticide emulsifiers. This product is toxic and irritating to the skin.
