Methods of Manufacturing

Derived from the bromination of isooctyl alcohol. First mix isooctyl alcohol and red phosphorus, then slowly add liquid bromine, reflux for 4h after the addition is complete, the reaction is complete, add water to wash away the acid, dry, vacuum distillation to obtain the crude product, and then wash with concentrated sulfuric acid and water until neutral , Dried by calcium chloride and filtered to become the finished product.
