(S)-3,5-dihydroxyphenylglycine is a glycine derivative that is L-alpha-phenylglycine substituted at positions 3 and 5 on the phenyl ring by hydroxy groups. It is a member of resorcinols and a non-proteinogenic L-alpha-amino acid. It derives from a L-alpha-phenylglycine. It is a tautomer of a (S)-3,5-dihydroxyphenylglycine zwitterion.
