2-Naphthalenesulfonic acid, 3,3′-[cyclohexylidenebis[(2-methyl-4,1-phenylene)-2,1-diazenediyl]]bis[4,6-dihydroxy-, sodium salt (1:2) Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 4, 4'-diamino-3, 3'-dimethyldiphenylcyclohexane and 4, 6-dihydroxy-2-naphthalenesulfonic acid as raw materials, first double nitridation of the former and then coupling with the latter Get the product. After filtering, drying and crushing, the finished product is obtained. Add 7340g 4, 4'-diamino-3, 3'-dimethyldiphenylcyclohexane hydrochloride solution (3%), 304.2g hydrochloric acid (30%) into the diazotization tank, and cool to 0- At 5°C, slowly add 40% sodium nitrite solution (prepared with 98% NaNO2 142.9g), and stir for 1 hour. The potassium iodide test paper shows blue as the end point, and the temperature is 5-10℃. In addition, 504g 4, 6-dihydroxy-2-naphthalenesulfonic acid (100%), 3L water, and 235g sodium bicarbonate (industrial product) were stirred until completely dissolved. Cool down to 5°C, slowly add the above diazonium solution, maintain pH=7-7.5, temperature 10-15°C, and stir for 1h until the diazonium salt disappears. Then add about 110g sodium carbonate (industrial product), adjust the pH value to 9, and keep it at 10-15℃ for 3h. After filtering and drying, about 1600g of dye is obtained.

Uses

Weak acid fuchsia BB is mainly used for dyeing wool, silk and nylon fabrics, but also for coloring leather, paper and plastic.
