MANGANESE(II)HYPOPHOSPHITEMONOHYDRATE Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Put 110 kg of manganese sulfate into the dissolving tank, add water to dissolve, and then drive into the primary converter. Then 170 kg of soda ash was added to the dissolution tank, and after water was added to dissolve, it was added to the conversion kettle under stirring. The reaction was completed when the pH value reached 7.5 to 8.0. Set aside, absorb the upper layer liquid, the lower layer is the manganese carbonate precipitation, add distilled water to wash and then dropwise add phosphoric acid to pH 4 to obtain trimanganese phosphate, which is washed with distilled water. Then transfer the material to the secondary converter, continue to add 170 kg of 85% phosphoric acid, when the solution concentration reaches 30~35°Bé, add an appropriate amount of barium carbonate, stir at 70~80 ℃ for 0.5h, and let stand for 24 hours , Remove the barium sulfate precipitation, transfer the filtrate to a vacuum evaporator, and concentrate until crystals precipitate. Centrifugal dehydration, crystallization and drying are the finished products.

Uses

This product is used as an anticorrosive agent for ferrous metals in the electroplating industry, and is also widely used in the phosphating and antirust treatment of steel products.
