1,2,3-Trichlorobenzene Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

1. The non-toxic BHC dried by pyrolysis is heated in a pyrolysis kettle to obtain trichlorobenzene, and a large amount of hydrogen chloride is by-produced. 2. Alkaline hydrolysis method BHC and lime milk are heated together to obtain trichlorobenzene, and a large amount of calcium chloride solution is by-produced. The trichlorobenzene obtained by the above two methods are all 1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene; 1, 3, 5-trichlorobenzene; a mixture of three isomers of 1, 2, 3-trichlorobenzene, with 1, 2 , 4-Trichlorobenzene is the main component. In the trichlorobenzene produced by the lime milk method, 1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene content is more than 75%, and 1, 2, 3-trichlorobenzene accounts for about 20%.

Uses

Mainly used to prepare pyromellitic dianhydride, also used to produce polyimide resins, dyes, plasticizers, surfactants, etc.
