Oils, geranium Use and Manufacturing
It is derived from fresh stems, leaves or whole plants of Pelargonium pelargonium (Pelargoniun graveolens or P. Roseum and P. Terebinthaceum), which is a plant of the pedigree family. The yield is 0.1%～0.3%. It is mainly produced in Reunion Island, Morocco, Algeria, Southwest my country and East China.
Used as food spices, mainly used in tobacco, wine and other food flavors. The dosage is 210mg/kg in chewing gum; 8.1mg/kg in baked food; 5.2mg/kg in candy 6.9mg/kg; 5.2mg/kg in cold drink; 2.8mg/kg in cold drink; 1.6mg/kg in soft drink; 1.1～ in pudding 2.0mg/kg.
