Description
Parsley oil, a yellow to light brown volatile essential oil, has the unique aroma of parsley stems, and contains a variety of ingredients such as pinene, myristic ether, ketones, aldehydes, etc. It is also rich in volatile compounds such as naphthalene, silymarin, linalool and geranyl aldehyde. Parsley oil is insoluble in glycerin, slightly soluble in propylene glycol, and soluble in most non-volatile oils, mineral oils and ethanol (milky white). Parsley oil is stable and resistant to oxidation.

Parsley oil Use and Manufacturing
It is obtained by steam distillation of the whole plant (including immature seeds) of the aerial part of the umbelliferous plant Parsley (Petroselinum sativum).
Parsley oil is obtained by steam distillation of the mature seeds of the Umbelliferae plant parsley. The yield is about 3.0%. It can also be obtained by steam distillation of the whole plant (including immature seeds) of the above-ground part of the Umbelliferae plant parsley (Petroselinum sativum). Parsley oil is a volatile essential oil that can mask the bad smell in the product, promote blood circulation, and has a purifying and calming effect. It is used as an anti-inflammatory agent in cosmetics, has a whitening effect, and at the same time, can increase the water content of the skin and has a moisturizing effect. GB 2760-96 allows Parsley oil to be used as a food spice. Parsley oil can be used as a spice mainly for pickles, soups, minced meat, sausages and canned foods.
