Description
Black Pepper Oil is a natural essential oil derived from the dried or unripe berries (drupes) of the black pepper plant, Piper nigrum. It is typically obtained through steam distillation or supercritical CO2 extraction. The oil presents as a mobile, pale yellow to greenish-yellow liquid with a characteristic warm, spicy, and pungent aroma distinct from ground black pepper. It is insoluble in water but soluble in alcohol and fixed oils.
