Acid black 24 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using lauric acid, 1-naphthylamine and N-Phenyl peri acid as raw materials, first diazotize lauren acid, couple with 1-naphthylamine, and then diazotize the coupled product , Coupling with N-phenyl cyclic acid to obtain the product. The finished product is obtained by salting out, filtering, drying and crushing. . Add 150kg of hydrochloric acid (industrial product) and 300kg of ice to the diazonium pot. Add 16% lauric acid solution (104.1kg containing lauren acid) and 30% sodium nitrite solution (33.3kg containing NaNO2) below 10°C. Add in 2h, and continue to stir for 2h. Transfer this diazonium liquid to the coupling pot, lower the temperature to 5℃, add 1-naphthylamine hydrochloride solution (made up of 63kg 1-naphthylamine, 64kg 30% hydrochloric acid and 450L water) within 10min, and continue after adding Stir at 10-12°C for 2h. Then gradually adjust the pH to 9 in batches with 10% liquid caustic soda. Transfer the above monoazo compounds to the diazonium pot, add ice to cool to 2-3°C, add 30% sodium nitrite solution (containing NaNO2 37.4kg), stir well, add 22.5% sulfuric acid 520kg, maintain 5-8°C , Stir for 2h, then add salt to salt out, filter, and beat the filter cake with 450L ice water to form a suspension. Add 1000L of water and 128kg of N-phenyl peri-acid in the coupling pot, dissolve at 80-85℃, and adjust the pH to 6 with hydrochloric acid and sodium acetate solution respectively. Dilute with water to 1500L, add the above suspension within 2h, and adjust the pH to 4.4-4.6 with sodium acetate solution at any time. After adding, continue stirring for 4h. Then adjust the pH to 8-8.2 with liquid caustic soda. Add salt to salt out, filter, dry, and crush to get about 805kg.
