Obtained by distilling the absolute essence with superheated steam at reduced pressure (35 to 40 mmHg) and at 88 to 92°C, based on the original concrete; yields up to 23.5% The concrete is extracted from flowers using petroleum ether with an average yield of approximately 3%. It is a waxy, brownish-red mass. Oils, jasmine Use and Manufacturing
It is obtained by extracting the flowers of Jasminum officinale var. gradiflornum and J. Sambac with petroleum ether or butane, and then steaming off the solvent. The yield of jasmine is 0.28%~0.38%. my country is rich in jasmine and is one of the main producers in the world. The yield of jasmine is 2.5% to 2.8%. It is mainly produced abroad in Morocco, Italy, France, Egypt and India.
Used as food spice. The dosage is 1.0~3.4mg/kg in candies; 1.0~15mg/kg in baked goods; 1.0~1.5mg/kg in cold drinks; 1.0mg/kg in gels and puddings; 0.7mg/kg in drinks.
