Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2-methyl-5-amino-N-ethylbenzenesulfonamide and gamma acid as raw materials, first diazotize the former and then couple with the latter to obtain the product. The finished product is obtained by salting out, filtering, drying and crushing.

Uses

Acid red PL is used for dyeing wool, silk and nylon. It is yellowish red.
