Acrylamide-acrylic acid copolymer Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Put acrylic acid and propionamide into the reaction kettle at 2:1 (molar ratio), add deionized water and stir to dissolve. Add 10% ammonium persulfate aqueous solution (the amount added is equivalent to 7% of the monomer amount). The temperature was raised to 60 ℃ and reacted for 3 h. Get the product.

Uses

Used as retention aid in the papermaking process. It has obvious effect on titanium dioxide. The highest retention rate is 0.05%~0.2%.

2-Propenoic acid, polymer with 2-propenamide: ACTIVE|XU - indicates a substance exempt from reporting under the Chemical Data Reporting Rule, (40 CFR 711).
