Drug Function and Efficacy

Fluoxetine sodium is a broad-spectrum oxacephem (oxa-cephalosporin) antibacterial drug that is very stable to beta-lactamase. Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of other third-generation cephalosporins, and its antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria is almost the same as that of latamifenib, and its antibacterial performance is similar to that of fourth-generation cephalosporins. It inhibits bacterial activity by binding to one or more penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) to hinder bacterial cell wall biosynthesis.
