Methods of Manufacturing

Using anthracene oil as the raw material, rectify and cut the 352-365℃ distillate, add this distillate to industrial ethanol, heat and dissolve it, let it stand and cool to 50℃, and filter out impurities. The filtrate continued to be cooled to room temperature and filtered. Add 10% sulfuric acid to the filter cake until the pH value is 2-3, then filter, then add 10% sodium hydroxide solution to the filter cake to the pH value 7-8, and filter. The obtained crystals are recrystallized with pyridine, or continue to be recrystallized with ethanol, or continue to be recrystallized with ethanol, and the soluble point of 2-methylanthracene is 200.5-203°C.

Using 2-methylanthracene, anthracene and dimethylanthracene as raw materials, copolymerized synthetic resin can be used as coatings, plastics, as well as fluorescent agents and reagents.
