Trimethylstearylammonium Chloride Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Pass the octadecyl tertiary amine into the autoclave, add an appropriate amount of isopropanol and no reaction medium, and then add a small amount of sodium hydroxide as a catalyst. After replacing the air in the kettle with nitrogen, the temperature was raised to 50°C, and 1% (mass) excess of methyl chloride was introduced. Close the autoclave. React for 4h at 0.5 MPa.
