Description

Allyl cyclohexylpropionate has not been found in nature. It is a colorless liquid with a sweet, fruity odor, reminiscent of pineapples. The ester is prepared by esterification of 3-cyclohexylpropionic acid (obtained by hydrogenation of cinnamic acid) with allyl alcohol.
